Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ's About DJ Services

1. Can I make my own playlist for you to play at my event?

-------Yes, we want to play the music that you want to hear. To make it easier on yourself, you may want to tell us the type of genres of music you would like to be played at your event and we can pull from our vast library to fit your requests.

2. Do you take requests during the event?

-------Yes. However, there are several exceptions. We do not take requests from anybody under the age of 16 unless they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Also, if you have the song on a CD, ipod, or phone, we need to listen to the song before we play it. Please do not request songs with questionable or objectional material.

3. Do you do outdoor events?

-------Yes we do, as long as you provide a clean area for us to set up our equipment.

4. What kind of music do you have in your library?

-------We have nearly every genre of music. These genres include Country, Rock & Roll, Pop/Soft Rock, Reggae, Movie Soundtracks, Hip-Hop, Oldies beginning in the 1920's up through the 1980's, Line Dances, Novelty, Sound Effects, and much more. We do not play Rap. We do not play music with questionable or objectional material.

FAQ's About Video Services

1. How many cameras do you use when you film at events?

-------We employ up to 3 cameras. Our service rates increase with each additional camera angle.

2. How far will MJS travel to a location?

-------We will travel any reasonable distance to an event, but keep in mind that the cost for travel will go up the farther away the event is located.

3. I want a nice wedding video but I'm on a tight budget. What do you recommend for me?

-------If money is the object, we recommend our Basic Package, as seen on our Rates & Services page. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for -- if you want an amazing wedding video, you may want to shift your budget to allow more for your wedding video.
